On Tuesday, February 11, 2020, the Pajaro Valley Food, Farming, and Health Policy Council (PVFFHPC) will host the California Food Policy Council (CAFPC). We have two special speakers lined up: Reggie Knox of California FarmLink and Watsonville Mayor Rebecca Garcia. At the event, we will honor the 2019 CAFPC Community Activists of the Year Meagan Baldy of Humboldt County and Carmen Herrera-Mansir, Executive Director of El Pajaro CDC! The determination of both Carmen and Meagan to bring about lasting and positive change in their communities embodies the values of the CAFPC. Their contributions are highlighted in the CAFPC California Food Policy Report 2019 (download here). You can still RSVP here!
On November 21st 2019 people in Pajaro Valley came together to both share and learn about authentic community engagement as we work toward health and well-being for all.
The Lighted Boat Parade takes place each winter, turning the Harbor into color and celebration. We will be watching from the office — come and say hi!
